Lindsey Baruch is eating her way through Los Angeles, and she’s taking us along for the ride! Lucky for us, she’s not sticking to a model’s diet or celebrity hangouts. The LA-based photographer, recipe developer, and food stylist explores just about every cuisine imaginable. From Italian delis to Korean BBQ, upscale eateries to food trucks, it doesn’t look like Lindsey has met a restaurant she doesn’t like!
And she doesn’t stop at Los Angeles. Lindsey is passionate about sharing her travels, aiming her lens at destinations as diverse as Hawaii, Cabo San Lucas, and Yosemite. Breathtaking vistas and cityscapes are sprinkled among dishes so tempting, you’ll be booking your flight as you drool on your keyboard.
If you won’t be hopping a plane anytime soon, Lindsey still has you covered. Her Instagram page, @lindseyeatsla, is filled with vibrant photographs of her own recipes. Her artful dishes are globally inspired but simple enough to make at home. You’ll also find Lindsey’s irresistible takes on classics and comfort food. Cooking for a crowd? You’ll find something for every vegan, carnivore, and sweet tooth at your table. Be sure to tear yourself away from the recipes long enough check out her travels, favorite kitchen gear, and best tips for photographing your own fare. Send her a pic if you make one of her dishes you made, and you could find it posted on her page!
Lindsey was pretty much born to be a food blogger. When we asked why she started, she tells us, “I’ve always loved cooking, restaurants, and photography!” Although Lindsey eats pretty much anything, she does value a nutritious diet because of how good it makes her feel. Dried beans are an important part of that diet, and her favorites are black beans and pinto beans. “I love to make different bean dips or vegetable chili,” she says.
Ready to try one of her bean-based favorites? Lindsey’s Plant-Based Falafel with Basil Tahini Dressing is made with dried chickpeas. Her unique take on tahini is the perfect use for one of summer’s most prolific (and delicious) herbs, so drizzle it on and prepare for a plant-based plate of heaven!
